It's art-filled days at chez PranaLight! At the weekend we went to the Munch Museum in Oslo, to see the special exhibit Sense of Snow, Edvard Munch's winter-themed landscapes. You can see more of what we viewed at our new place, Perspectives.
The museum has activities for children--this one was designed for trying out techniques for creating rubbings, a simple way of reproducing a textured surface. Me, not being shy, dug into paper, crayons and a variety of surfaces they had available, and played!
This was my "No. 25 Masterpiece", done in two minutes at the Munch museum... The textures are old lace, faux snakeskin leather, and metal, using childrens' crayons on paper. Great fun!
Serious art viewing stimulates the appetite and conversation... Our late lunch at Eat Sushi & More.
Stunning twilight on the drive home.
